Durio dulcis Becc.; family: Malvaceae. Commonly known as Red Durian or Lahong.

Local Name

Known in Indonesia as “Durian Merah” or “Lahong,” especially in Kalimantan.

Native Habitat

Native to Borneo’s humid tropical rainforests with high rainfall, warm temperatures, and fertile soils.
