Scientific Name

Rafflesia arnoldii R.Br.; commonly known worldwide as the Corpse Flower, although distinct from Amorphophallus titanum.

Local Name

Known as “Giant Padma” or “Bunga Rafflesia” in Indonesia.

Native Habitat

Native to the tropical rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo, where climates remain warm, humid, and densely forested year-round.
